I don't understand why people are even paying for Netflix or any other streaming service, when every TV-series or movie is available to download or stream for free (at least any that is worth watching). I'm still watching quite a lot of TV-series and sometimes movies too but I don't have any streaming service subscription and I haven't watched anything on TV for years now. I usually download whole seasons of a TV-series before I start watching, so I can watch it in my own pace. Many TV-series are still aired only one episode per week, so therefore I wait until all episodes of a season are aired and then I download the whole season before I start watching. Sometimes if it is an older series I download multiple seasons or the whole series before I start watching. The last series that I downloaded quite recently was "The Blacklist", which is 10 seasons. So far I have watched 18 episodes of the first season. I prefer to download because then I won't be depended on a good internet connection...
